What is Numerology?

Numerology (more info) is the ancient science of numbers and their meanings. By associating numbers with the letters in a person's name and using those numbers as well as the numbers in their birth date, one can gain insight into a person and their character.

Entering Names

When you add a profile (or person) in Numerology (the app), you are asked to provide the person's birth name and date. Numerology (the app) uses the Pythagorean method of numerology. With the Pythagorean method, it is very important that the birth name be the name that was on the person's birth certificate. If you do this you will get a more accurate picture of the person when they first came into the world and their original attributes, especially their destiny.

If you don't have the person's birth name, you can enter their common name. This will give you a reading of how they are now, but you may overlook their true purpose and original traits. In fact, to see how a person's name affects them, create a profile with each name you want to analyze.

Forecasts

You can view forecasts for a profile for any date. The forecast date will default to the current date. To change it, simply tap on the date, and a date picker will appear.
